Orto Grigliato | I Contadini - 230g

Zucchini, peppers, eggplant and button mushrooms, grilled one by one on cast-iron grills, diced and jarred with fresh mint, garlic, apple vinegar and olive oil. I Contadini make it on their family farm in Ugento, Salento, with the vegetables harvested seasonally.

Smoky, sweet and a little sharp, with the mint lifting everything. It works as a ready-made antipasto with bread and cheese, tossed through warm pasta, piled on focaccia or folded into an omelet. Drain it lightly and serve it at room temperature.
