Small Apples | Gutes aus Gretes Garten - ca. 400g

A handful of small apples from Grete Peschken's certified organic farm in Stierow, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, about two hours north of Berlin. They are grown regeneratively and certified organic, so expect the odd blemish rather than a waxed, uniform shine. Grete also sells at her Thursday stall on Kollwitzplatz.

Crisp, juicy and balanced between sweet and sharp. Eat them out of hand, slice them into a salad with beetroot or radicchio, or bake them into a quick crumble. Keep them in the fridge or a cool cellar and they stay crisp for weeks. Sold by the piece, so weight varies.
