Mini Kohlrabi | Gutes aus Gretes Garten - 2 pcs

Two small kohlrabi from Grete Peschken's certified organic farm in Stierow, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, about two hours north of Berlin. Grete works regeneratively, with certified organic methods, and also brings her harvest to her Thursday stall at Kollwitzplatz.

Sweet, juicy and crunchy, somewhere between cabbage and a broccoli stem. Young kohlrabi like these need only a light peel: slice them raw into a salad or onto a board with a pinch of salt, or roast them in wedges. The leaves are good too, cooked like kale.
